Istanbul - Will you still love me tomorrow

A photographic journey through Istanbul far from the tourist clichés, highlighting moments of complicity and tenderness between the people of Istanbul in order to bear witness to the possible cohabitation between tradition and modernity, religion and secularism.

“I arrived in Istanbul for an artist residency in November 2019. I was still jet-lagged from an exhausting return from Hawaii, where I had gone to work with a script consultant.

With accommodation provided in the beautiful town of Kadikoy and meals taken care of, I had a month ahead of me to do what I wanted, so I beckoned to the creative desire within me, “Come on… wake up!
