Tours Nuages

The fanzine Tours Nuages takes you on a stroll through the iconic buildings of the Cité Picasso in Nanterre. The photographs, taken by architecture students at ENSA Paris-Malaquais during a workshop run by Studio ICAI in February 2023, are accompanied by texts by Zoé Weil. Together, the images and texts offer a sensitive journey through Emile Aillaud’s towers. Between incursions into the private lives of the residents and wanderings through the public spaces of the “cloud towers”, the book pays tribute to the architectural quality of this housing complex, while also questioning, on the eve of its transformation, its evolution since the 1970s.
