Through the prism of her female gaze, her tight framing, her close-ups or her contrasting scales, Solène Sahmaran Gün shows us fragments of the daily life of these men in the making. Rather than faces or looks, she shows us fraternal gestures, silhouettes, details.

The result is a poetic but tense visual language, in which the iconography of the suburbs and the culture of origin of these young men intermingle. Through Turunç, Solène Sahmaran Gün depicts a youth in the grip of a suspended time and rich in inventiveness.
